Fly Like An Eagle

Oh, I love that song as well as every other song about flying. The words bring me right back to my own flying dreams.

Having been interested in dreams all my lives, I've met many who fly in dreams. Some of them dream lucidly, like Jackfrost... I can relate to his flying dreams...can you?

I've had so many unusual flying dreams, yet I've never 'became the eagle'. I keep hearing "I want to Fly like an Eagle...to the sea...fly like an Eagle..." by Peter Framptom, and hearing
Dick Sutphen, American Metaphysician, crooning to fly like an eagle in one of him visual meditations. I've flown eagle-like from the tape and the music. I've never had an experience, dream, drug or lucid about being in an animal or bird body. I'm very interested in totems,

and Amerindian Shamanistic lucid-dream traveling in a different form. I hear Damiana did that back in the days, and I am growing Dami in my garden for the first time this year, but I'm waaaayyy to chicken to ever ingest it to have flying dreams. I figure death comes soon enough and I'll get to do all the flying I want if that is what comes next.

Title:The Royal Flush
~Dreamt I was sitting on a porcelein toilet flying from London to NYC. I wasn't afraid! It was very dark and starfilled sky as I zoomed over the Brittish Isles until I saw Manhatten Island. I don't recall landing...but LOL....a toilet? Maybe all my transatlantic or Pacific flights where I had to 'go' in the crappy little cubicle they call a toilet on a plane. Gross! It sure was nice already having my own first-class built in potty chair! My guides never commented on this one! Any ideas??

Title:Amish Mush Monster
~Dreamt I was with two little boys I know and we were running from a huge slug-like beast that was on a stage with followers worshiping it. The followers were all dressed in Amish clothing with big bonnets or hats that covered their faces. We had stumbled into the 'church' and saw the beast was giving birth to little 'somethings' and the Amish followers would take the newborn and line it up along the stage by its 'Mama Magot' . They all turned, borg-like and started coming for us, zombie-like. We rushed out of the church....and ran down the street and saw a different church with a roped-off area surrounding it. We climbed under the ropes and the zombies were getting closer. I held the little boys hands and said three times "I believe in Jesus Christ". We lifted off and flew away. I awoke...before landing. (whew).

Title:Interlife Flying lessons
~Dreamt I was a young being at school in the 'air' or on a cloud with about a dozen others like me. A bigger 'being' who didn't look like yet I knew was my gram, Minnie aka by oversoul name 'Celestiann'was our teacher. Although it was air, a bright turquoise colored air, we swam through it. We reached a big circular, cave-like opening and swam/flew inside. It was heavenly.

Title:KokoBear vs. the vampire
~Dreamt it was dark, late night and a group of us stayed late at work but were punching out the time clock in the supermarket after hours. We all started strolling out to the parking area and someone ran up and said vampires were after us all! We ran but I lifted off and flew through the air until I saw two houses, sort of London town houses, all lit up and people partying inside. It was a fraternity or sorority house of sorts, young people living away from home for the first time. I was still flying but now just hovering and 'swimming' slowly around the rooms. One room upstairs had a huge wrought-iron Amerindian style bear on the wall. It was sort of like the Kokopelli figure but definitely a bear. I awoke.

Title:High flying shopping
~Dreamt I was with a few others flying high, high up in the air inside a huge department store. I had a 'birds eye' view of the displays and shoppers and we flew lower swooping between isles and wracks of clothing. We left out the back door and into the open but worried about electric lines everywhere and trying to avoid them.
